The Cowboy & Wild West are charming duplex cabins each featuring a private, non-connected unit, ideal for couples or small families seeking a cozy retreat.
Each cabin includes:
One bedroom with a queen bed
Open-concept living area with a fold-out sleeper sofa (sleeps up to 4 total)
Flat screen cable TV and WiFi
Full kitchen and dining area with cookware and tableware provided
Bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and shower
Linens and towels included
Outside, guests can relax on a large shared wrap-around porch with rocking chairs and stunning views of Blue Ridge Mountains and the property. Enjoy the shared outdoor space, complete with a fire pit and gas grill—firewood and propane provided.

“Truly the most amazing stay, and already planning to come back (and we’re not ones who typically like to repeat places). So many parts of this felt like a warm welcome home. The cabin itself was so cozy and clean! And the view was completely gorgeous. The sun rises in front of the porch to the left and sets to the side of the house. We woke to the long horns right outside our window practically! While the cabin is a duplex and has another cabin to the side of it, everything felt so private! It was so lovely to be able to walk around the farm freely and spend time with all of the animals (cats, dogs, chickens, horses, sheep, cows!!) We especially loved how welcoming everything felt. Kimberly in the office was such a joy to chat with throughout our stay. Perhaps most importantly, we were a bit anxious traveling to this area in the current social climate. But seeing the pride flags and affirming signage throughout the property made us feel so safe and at home! 1000% would recommend!”

“The Wild West is one half of a cabin duplex with a beautiful view of the ranch’s rolling hills, long-horn steers, horses, and pasture. Rocking chairs greet you on the front porch, and the cabin has a kitchen (stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge), an inviting living room area, and a queen bedroom with high ceilings — complete with a jacuzzi in the bathroom! It is decorated with a wild west theme, which was really made complete with the long-horns in the front pasture. The ranch has half a mile of riverfront on the Shenandoah, accessible by trails (approximately half a mile from the cabin), and we spent our morning tubing the three mile stretch from Newport to Alma. Horseback riding is available through the ranch, but we didn’t take advantage of it this time. The ranch is within easy driving distance to restaurants in Stanley, Shenandoah, Luray, and Elkton, including two breweries and one winery. We loved our time here and look forward to returning in the future.”
