River's Bend Ranch is your ultimate Shenandoah Valley destination for weddings, parties, group and corporate retreats, vacations, weekend getaways, or even just a day away in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Far away from highways, airports and other hubbub, you immediately notice how quiet and peaceful your surroundings are at River’s Bend Ranch. Nestled on over 250 scenic acres with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and a half-mile of river frontage along the Shenandoah, our family-owned working ranch offers an unforgettable escape for groups of all sizes. With more than 20 on-site bedrooms, including 3 cabins, a ranch house, and a large bunkhouse, we offer flexible accommodations for a wide range of needs.

Our event pavilion, set against the backdrop of the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains, can transform every gathering into a memorable experience.

Guests and visitors can enjoy beginner-friendly horseback trail rides along the Shenandoah River, while local folks are welcome to board their horses and become part of our intentional community.

Our ranch is also home to a lively mix of animals, including beautiful horses, Longhorn steers, Navajo Churro sheep (learn more on our About Us page!), free-range chickens (with fresh eggs often available), and a playful crew of barn cats. It’s a place where adults and kids alike can unwind, explore, and connect with nature.

What Our Guests Are Saying

“This has officially become our absolute favorite family vacation! We discovered the ranch last year while vacationing at another location. We will be staying here from now on! Both our children are on the Autism Spectrum, and I was so impressed with how well the horses took to them. Gary has become our daughter’s favorite horse. Francesca is our favorite tour guide on the very scenic trail ride. We didn’t want to leave! This was such a calm, serene & very therapeutic vacation. Everything was perfect!”

“River’s Bend Ranch is such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a vacation! My friends and I stay there every year in the winter and it is such an amazing experience. The house we stayed in is always extremely clean while also being very cozy and welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves nature, serenity, and a calm experience.”

“Rivers Bend Ranch is a local gem!! You cannot compete with the views and the amenities. Plenty of space for big groups (we have done a group of both 8 or 10), and they also have an adorable cottage for a couple. Bonfires, scenic walks, and so many friendly animals. I look forward to this trip each year!”
